Live your life one intrusive advertisement at a time.

Resume in 15 was created as a “serious game” meant to highlight the intrusive and unavoidable state of advertising in society, and where an advertising-obsessed civilization might end up in the near future.

This game was developed in Unity over the course of 3 months as part of the University of Utah Department of Games’ 2022 Summer Alternative Games project.
I served as Design Lead and Producer on this project with a team of about 6 people, culminating in publication on itch.io and generally positive reception from peers.

While only a few minutes long, the game created a frustrating, yet simple and engaging experience that I am ultimately quite proud of, especially considering the short development time and small team.

  • Designed feature specifications during prototyping phase

  • Created thorough systems documentation

  • Blocked out the environment

  • Designed the game’s missions system and implemented each mission

  • Worked with artists to establish consistent aesthetics

  • Worked in-engine throughout the project creating level layouts and implementing art assets

As Producer I…

  • Ran task management software for the project using Kanban methods

  • Ran meetings and organized deadlines

  • Worked with artists and engineers to ensure an efficient pipeline

  • Worked with game’s vision holder and other team-members to ensure group enthusiasm and participation

  • Resolved various interpersonal conflicts
